The host family were so warm and welcoming! We had some of the most delicious home cooked meals by Muthu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She was so accommodating to the requests the group had and was so generous with the meals they provided, they kept on refilling the empty dishes so generously! Loved the beautiful garden overlooking the mountains and you can see many of the wild monkeys around too! Truly an unforgettable experience and it felt like a stay with extended family.

Very welcoming and helpful family. They cooked us dinner, gave us lots of delicious cake, snacks and tea. They drove us to Horton plains by tuktuk and picked us up for a good price, helped us organizing, brought us to the train station for free. Room was clean and very nice.

We were welcomed very warmly by the host family. They gave us a lot of tea and information and supported us with everything we needed. They made fabulous dinner and even gave us breakfast to go for the hortons plain national park. The rooms were clean and we have nothing bad to say.

The view is amazing and the host super smiley and welcoming! This is the perfect spot to stay in Ohiya before or after Hortons plains. We had dinner there and it was super good The room is super comfy!

Wonderful hosts Mahinda and Muthu made us feel like at home. Food was great and always plenty of it. Beds large, rooms spatious and clean. Good to use train to get there. The family owns a Tuktuk.
