Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated. Welcoming host, Dave, who was also a super breakfast chef and a font of local knowledge. Quiet, comfortable, cosy and practically perfect in every way.

Had the most fabulous stay at Summerhill. Awesome location, very comfortable room, excellent shower, good onsite parking, wonderful breakfast every morning and Dave was a terrific host. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a sensational stay and would highly recommend.

The breakfast was lovely, quickly made and excellent quality. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were high quality and very clean! The hotel is situated right outside a lovely forest which is amazing to walk in- absolutely beautiful views! Lots of places to go to eat and a lovely little village on your doorstep.

Breakfast was phenomenal and had many options. Room was so warm and cozy! Everything I needed was there and the view was also beautiful. There are many areas to just sit with a cup of tea and enjoy the mountains, otherwise there is also plenty to do in the village and Summerhill is very close to walk but also far enough that it was deeply serene at night.

Attention to detail, very welcoming service and incredibly comfortable and warm accommodation. We’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and B&B’s across Europe and US and this is one of the best.
