Nice & clean hotel, with a comfy bed and all the amenities. We brought a car so parking was a big plus (although €13/day is pretty expensive). There’s a bus stop right outside that goes to the city centre which was pretty convenient. Dublin port was only a 20ish minute drive away. The only downside was the size of the room, the beds took up 80% of the space so there was no place to open suitcases without tripping over them.

I liked that the staff were approachable and really friendly, to the receptionist, cleaners and waiters/waitress. I also appreciated that reception gave me a call to check what time we’d be arriving for check-in. Even though I’ve worked in hotels before and had the impression the call might have been more to confirm whether we were coming (perhaps the hotel was overbooked and you needed the room?), I still think it came across as a thoughtful follow-up—especially for someone less experienced with hotels. Also, the Senior Duty Manager on our check-out day was very friendly and accommodating.
