Great location close to Knaresborough and not far from Leeds and Harrogate. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent meals served throughout the day from breakfast through to dinner. The accommodation is very comfortable with modern en suites.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The hosts and staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was the best we've ever stayed in and the food was plentiful and delicious. The real ale was also exceptional! Would definitely recommend.

Set in a very pretty village. A real, proper village pub. Our suite was very comfortable and spacious, with very pleasant decor and well equipped. The shower was great, with instant hot water. All the food was really good and reasonably priced. Served very hot on hot plates!

A really lovely stay to celebrate our 63rd Wedding anniversary ❤️. The room was delightful, very clean and lovely extra touches (robes and hospitality tray). All of the staff were very friendly. A big thankyou to Liz, Amanda and the two young waitresses. A special thanks to the Chef 👩🍳 . The food both at breakfast and dinner was super 👌. This Chef should be given a Michelin star 🌟. Hope for a return visit soon. Very best wishes to all the staff.

Great location and beautiful area. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and warm. The underfloor heating was wonderful.
