Initially the room was exceptionally cold the a/c wasn’t working & we couldn’t get the radiator to work either. When we went in to dinner we told the receptionist & on our return to the room it was lovely & warm. The restaurant was very good as was the food. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The manicured grounds were fantastic & the history of the building & grounds was amazing.

The location, buildings, interior and gardens are unique and very pretty. I paid for a large bed but it consisted of two mattresses pushed together.

Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel grounds were lovely. Breakfast was delicious - with cooked English or continental buffet available. Really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the whole break. The history is amazing. Only one small downside was the room was so cold but when we mentioned it they rectified it whilst we were at dinner.

Outstanding Beautiful grounds which could do with a bit more outdoor dining seating area experiences especially as the weather gets better and with its easy location's it has a lot of potential with Exemptions service by Naman who from the three visits I have had and attended an end of year work party has always been hospitable and gone above and beyond delivering service . Jo from the reception gave a lovely welcome and first point of contact and so was Tom .

The beauty of the building and its grounds. Good comfortable rooms. Great water pressure in the showers. Very nice facilities with a great bar.
