Hotel Overview

This traditional 4-star hotel is situated 2 minutes from the train station of Lautenbach, a village in the Middle Black Forest's Renchtal valley. Extensive hiking trails start at your doorstep.
The comfortably furnished, classic rooms of the Sonnenhof hotel feature their own balcony and all modern amenities. Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the Sonnenhof.
In the 1,200 square meter wellness area you will find an indoor pool with panoramic views, an outdoor whirlpool, numerous relaxation areas, two saunas and a salt room. Or let yourself be pampered with a soothing massage in the SonnenSpa. A fitness room is also available to guests.
Guests are welcome to dine at the on-site restaurant, which offers exquisite cuision made with fresh regional produce.
Set amid beautiful countryside, the Sonnenhof makes an ideal base for exploring the many hiking routes and bicycle trails of the Black Forest reserve.

Excellent breakfast with a great variety of everything, very professional and friendly staff. The highlight every evening is dinner at the restaurant. While the Black Forest in general offers already a superb cusine, the Sonne Restaurant clearly stands out. Whether for a business trip (like me) or a vacation its always a pleasure and excitement to return.

Really very nice hotel, modern, big rooms, quiet, with excellent facilities including a beautiful inside pool. Breakfast is great, just as the dinner. Great wine list for those who appreciate. Very friendly staff, forthcoming and great service. Parking space, including for bikes! Can really recommend.

Room was perfect. Clean and great shower. Spacious (even with an extra bed for our kid). Swimming Pool was amazing and good size and the whirl pool outside was also great.
