Excellent and superb Hostal. Very comfortable and very clean. The room have A/C, small fridge and nice balcony. The receptionist was very nice and friendly even we’re late check in. Overall very good and value for money to stay.

Always happy to stay in this wonderful hostel, perfectly located in de Calle de Fuencarral, full of fashionable shops and close to our all time favourite tapas bar (Orio) but also conveniently located to all the cool areas both sides of the Gran Via. Even the Rastro is easily by foot and you have 2 underground stations near to bring you to the airport or other parts of Madrid. Also both Plaza de Espana and the Prado are in normal walking distance if you're not too lazy. This was our 4th visit (but the 1st time via Booking) and it is for us "La Primera" address when we visit Madrid. By the way: it was 44° C, so it is an extra plus the room has airco!

The bed was comfortable, but I didn't get much sleep because of the noise: people going to the shared bathroom right outside my door, people coming back to the hotel late and talking loudly, noisy garbage pick up on the street at about 4am.

Perfect location in the heart of Madrid city center. Check in has been easy, staff is friendly and the room has exactly what you need. Very recommended.

Clean, very basic, towels/soap were provided, air condition was working well and it was an excellent location. It is practical if you are out most of the day and just come to the room to sleep.

I've already stayed twice in Palacios. Both times everything was perfect. There is a fridge in the rooms, the beds are comfortable, no matter whether the room is to the back or streetside, I had calm and comfortable sleep. The staff is very friendly and it is unproblematic to arrive even in the middle of the night.

The location is amazing. Although very central, my room had a window to a back court and therefore was very calm. I slept with open windows several nights and nothing disturbed my sleep. The staff is extraordinarily helpful. They gave me advice where to buy certain things and helped me orienting in the city. Also I had a fridge in my room and a TV. Internet worked perfectly (unlike in many other accomodations in Madrid)
