Saved by the lovely young man working at the hotel. I had booked the wrong night and the hotel was closed for maintenance! However, as we arrived quite late en route up north, he very kindly let us into a room! Great! Thank you.

This hotel is close to passing the advantage line. They are nice people and the food in the restaurant was great (so good to see vegetarian friendly options on the menu). Repeat, we really enjoyed our meal. The bed was springy but comfy for two big people - no sag to the middle, as yet. All up, you get the feel they are working hard to lift things. It’s not far off great value for money.

A lovely building being adapted and modernised without losing character. The sign of a good business is how they deal with adversity. Initially we had a minor issue with our room and the staff and manager were amazing, no fuss no drama, just working to obtain a result. Thank you.

Staff were beyond friendly and helpful especially the lady in charge Maria she couldn’t do enough for us ! Made us feel so welcome and helped us in every way.
