This is a perfect spot nestled in a cute restaurant district and just far enough from the main tourist strip but easy to walk there. Quaint, clean, comfortable. Breakfast is amazing! Great selection of traditional foods, coffee, and tea. Artificial onsen is hot and a great way to recover after a ski day at any of the nearby resorts.

Beds on the floor but comfy and a small cahir and table included. The room had the tinniest bathroom I've ever seen but it had Good onsen bath. Good breakfast and friendly staff

Fantastic find. Surprisingly big room on 2nd floor. Lovely host - although he spoke little English he was very welcoming and smiley. Good breakfast and onsen (although restricted hours). Very clean.

Lovely guest house with great breakfast lounge you can sit in during the day. Check in was laid out and organised beautifully - they even upgraded my room. Spotlessly clean.

We ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were super friendly. The room was spacious with a sink area and private bathroom. The onsen and breakfast are a nice bonus. The breakfast room is traditional japanese style so it's a cool experience if you aren't Japanese.
