It was lovely & warm had really good central heating. All the rooms were spacious & very clean.Beds were comfortable, the fridge freezer was large so plenty of room to put your food etc. Had modern quite large t.v. It was a handy base to tour a lot of the top area of the lake district. Julie & David were really good hosts. The downstairs fitted shower was excellent.

This is a real home from home. Spacious, clean and with a great deal of attention to detail. Kitchen has everything you could reasonably want. Location great, all Lake District within max an hour drive and you come home to peace and tranquility, avoiding the tourist “scrum”. Hosts very welcoming.

The property has everything needed for our stay. It was clean. It was more spacious than what I had expected when I booked. The animals also behind the house were a great bonus.
